An educational CD ROM promoting self protection for young people with learning needs
Designed for use with people with learning needs, mild intellectual disabilities, or mild Autistic Spectrum disorder, this excellent resource follows the stories of six young people (aged 12-16) who learn valuable self-protection skills. Content covers: bodies, feelings, types of touch, rules about touch, warning signs, what to do and safe places. Nine games teach self-protection in a fun, interactive way. Playing the whole CD can take up to three hours. Time can vary with ability, games chosen and level of discussion.
